Wielton S.A., based in Wieluń, is the largest Polish manufacturer of semi-trailers, trailers and bodies. The company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange is one of the three largest producers in its industry in Europe. It is also among the top ten global players in the industry. Wielton’s clients include transport, construction, production, distribution and agricultural companies. The Wielton Group has four production centres: in Poland, Germany, France and United Kingdom, as well as two assemblies: in Italy and Russia. At the end of 2016, Wielton launched a subsidiary in Côte d’Ivoire, where it became the first European manufacturer to build a road trailers assembly plant.
